Student Training

1.  Open the front cover of the Scanner.
2.  Pull the drawer out using the silver handle.

3.     Thread the microfilm through the scanner as shown in the diagrams on the machine.

4.     Turn on the scanner using the black switch on the bottom left of the machine.
5.     Push the drawer back into the machine.
6.     Find the article you’re looking for by turning the cranks on either side of the machine.
7.     Use the focus switch right below the screen to zoom in on an article and the focus knob to improve the focus so it’s easier to read.
