Residents living within the Valley City Community are eligible to apply for a free Community Library Card. Residents may apply for a Community Library Card at the Information Desk (or by using our online form) and must bring proof of residency or a photo ID. The card will be issued within 48 hours of completing an application. Community accounts expire every 2 years, and a community user must provide the Library with updated contact information to be eligible for an account renewal.
To obtain a library card please visit us at the VCSU Library!
Librarians are available to assist you with any research needs you may have!
Please visit the library or contact us (library@vcsu.edu / 701-845-7277) for assistance.
Community users may have no more than five books checked out at one time and may not check out items on reserve for coursework.
Due to licensing agreements and service contracts, community users are unable to use most of the Library's electronic resources off campus. However, the electronic popular reading collection is available for Community patrons from both on and off campus through the Libby app. See library staff with any questions!
