Welcome to the PSYC 250 Research Guide

This course guide is here to make your PSYC 250 coursework experience easier. Each of the tabs on the left side of this guide will take you to a different set of resources collected by Hannah, the Research and Instruction librarian at VCSU.

The Instruction Session Video tab has, as you may guess, a video instruction session where I go over peer-reviewed sources, source evaluation, and APA style 7th edition. Also on this tab is a PowerPoint presentation with the information from the video.

The Find Peer-reviewed Articles tab has instructions on using some of our library resources as well as links to information about finding other source types. 

The APA Format tab goes over what APA formatting is, how to format a title page, and links to some examples.

The APA Citations tab explains why we cite our sources, how to format a reference page, and links to several informational resources on creating APA citations.
