Printing, Copying, and Scanning

Printing

At Allen Memorial Library you can find one of the only color printers on campus. To access this printer, configure your laptop to the printer lib1st-cpr-clr (refer to the instructions for Mac and PC).

In addition to the color printer, we also have three additional black and white printers. They can be found by the following names:

  • Lib1st-Ptr
  • Lib2nd-Ptr
  • LibLwrLvl-Ptr

Note: the color printer can not be found on papercut.vcsu.edu!

If you wish to print and do not have your computer, you can print from one of our public access terminals and pay the library staff in cash.

See the library staff for help configuring your laptop to the printers or printing!

As of July 1, 2022, printing rates for community patrons are:

   Black and white prints: $ .15/page single-sided prints; $ .25/page double-sided prints

   Color prints: $ .50/page single-sided prints; $ .75/page double-sided prints

VCSU campus copies/prints (faculty, staff, or current student) are charged per the rates on PaperCut.

Library printers are not intended for large print jobs; if your print job will be more than 30 pages, please contact the FMC for assistance.
