How to make copies using the photocopier

Note: Copies are 15 cents per side on 8.5 x 11 paper, and 30 cents a side on legal-sized paper

Tip: If a student wants to make black & white copies, recommend that they scan their page(s) and then print to any of the free campus printers from their own computer.

Tip: The library is not a copy shop. If a user wants a large (greater than 35 pages) or sophisticated job, recommend that they go to the FMC.

1.     Place the paper on the copier bed or in the top feeding tray.
2.     Press the Copy button.
3.     Type in the Copier Code and press OK.
4.     Check the settings to ensure your print will be right.  Here are some things to look for:

a.     Paper size

b.     Number of Copies

c.     Color or Black and White

d.     Reduce or Enlarge

e.     Double or Single-Sided

f.      Staple options

5.     Press the green Start button.
6.     Take the patron’s money and be sure to enter it into Aleph.
