Reference Referral Chart

It is extremely important to be able to identify who is the "expert" in a particular field so as not to frustrate the patron by having to explain the issue to three different people AND to prevent staff being taken away from their own jobs when someone else is responsible. Use this chart to help you decide the correct person to refer questions to-and do so immediately to save time/effort.
