Library Staff Computers

There are three computers that you will typically use in the course of your duties in the library: the information desk computer, and the two computers in the office.

A few things to keep in mind about these computers:

  • Do not save login information for any computer or application, as many different people use these computers during the course of the day.

  • Always log out of the profile or application (LibGuides, Blackboard Drive, etc.) you were using at the end of your shift.

  • Always report any log in/log out problems to your supervisor or another full-time staff member. This way we can ensure they will be working for the next person who needs them.

  • When closing the library, always be sure to close all programs and shut down the computers completely.
